Asking for a date

Asking for a date doesn't book it. We confirm every session with you personally, by email or message, with the date, time, place and package. It's booked once we've both agreed.

There's no deposit and nothing to pay online for the session itself: you pay us the session fee directly. Extra edited photos and extra rounds of changes can be paid online in your gallery.

Prices

Prices are in S$, and the price you see is the price you pay. We're not registered for GST, so no GST is added. There's no extra charge for weekends, early mornings or travel. The one exception: a corporate session on a public holiday costs S$100 more, shown in your quote. Travel anywhere on the island, Sentosa included, is part of the price. For other islands, we tell you the price first.

Moving your session

You can move your session once, for free, with at least 7 days' notice. A move with less notice, or a second move, costs S$60. Moving for bad weather, or because a baby arrives early, never counts.

Rain

For an outdoor session, we check the forecast the evening before. We decide together, at least 2 hours before the start, whether to go ahead. A session called off that way moves to a new date for free. Once we're there, we shoot under cover and keep going through a passing shower.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time before the session by telling us. There's no deposit, so there's no cancellation fee, but we'd be grateful for as much notice as you can give. If we ever have to cancel (illness or an emergency), we'll offer you our next free dates first. If none suit you, you owe us nothing.

Your gallery

You first see every photo in a private online gallery, where you choose your favourites. The finished photos arrive in the same gallery within 7 working days of the session. If you're still choosing then, they arrive within 7 working days of your choices. One round of changes to your edited photos is included.

Your page

When your edited photos arrive, your gallery becomes your own page. You choose its address and who can see it: only the people you invite, or anyone with the link. Only make it public if everyone in the photos is happy with that. You can change it back at any time.

Your shareable page is free to share for a month from delivery. That's included. Your private gallery stays online for 3 months from delivery. That's included too. We email you before each one ends.

To keep both online for longer, you can pay for Keep it online, once a year. It keeps your private gallery and your shareable page online, for all your galleries with us. The price is shown in your gallery before you pay.

When the free month of sharing ends, your page rests for visitors: the people you shared it with see a resting page, not your photos. Your private gallery stays yours until its own date. Keep it online, and your page is shared again straight away.

Keep it online never renews by itself. We email you 30 days before your date, and you choose then. If you don't renew, or when your free 3 months end, your gallery rests: it goes offline, but we keep your photos. Pay again, or ask us, and it comes back. We delete a resting gallery 12 months after it went offline. We email you at least 14 days before we do.

Your photos are yours to download whenever your gallery is online, and while it rests, until we delete them. Keep your own copy too: your page is for sharing, not your only backup. If we ever stop offering pages, we'll tell you at least 90 days before, keep downloads open until then, and refund any time you've paid for and not used. You can ask us to delete your gallery at any time, and we will.

Your visitors can save photos one at a time only if you let them, and you can turn that off at any time.

Using your photos

We keep the copyright in the photos. You get a licence (our permission) to use them personally: print them, frame them, share them with family and post them online. A credit is kind, but never required. Personal branding and corporate photos may also be used on your or your company's website, LinkedIn, profiles and print. Using them in paid ads needs a separate licence.

We only show your photos in our portfolio, on this site or on social media if you say yes to that separately, in your gallery. You can take that back at any time, and we then take them down.
